Folks over the years
A simple idea: the beginnings of our HR system
The idea of creating an affordable solution to simplify HR management for SMBs came to Sylvain in the summer of 2009. Using an Excel file, he built the software that would become Manage With Success.
Hiring our first employees
In 2015, Sylvain hired the first two Manage with Success employees in Quebec, Michael and Jean-Simon, who are still part of the team today!
Manage With Success becomes Allié RH
...in Quebec! Following numerous discussions and partnership proposals, Manage With Success adopts a new name and becomes Allié RH.
New players join the adventure
New employees join our team to support the growth of the company, which now has over 250 customers to its credit.

A major innovation on our platform: we have developed a system entirely dedicated to employee performance management, to improve performance assessment and monitoring in all organizations.
Jimmy Plante becomes our CEO
Jimmy Plante joins the Folks adventure, succeeding Sylvain Roy in the role of CEO. His vision is to make Folks the Canadian leader in HR solutions!
$4.5 million in financing
Folks receives major financing of $4.5 million from Desjardins Capital and BDC Capital to create 20 to 25 additional highly skilled jobs over the next year, thus reinforcing the excellence of its human resources management solutions for SMBs.
Folks acquires Glow Talents
Folks continues its expansion and accelerated growth with the key acquisition of an Applicant Tracking System, strengthening its position as a leader in the world of HR technology.
Folks obtains SOC 2 Type 2 certification
SOC 2 Type 2 certification validates that Folks' systems and processes meet strict information security standards. This certification attests to our commitment to ensuring the integrity and availability of critical data managed by our human resources management solutions.
