Folks Payroll automates your accounting entries
Accounting entries are now available in Folks Payroll! Every pay run is translated into debit and credit lines, ready to export to your accounting system. With distribution tags, you can automate the accounting breakdown to match your internal structure — no more redoing that classification by hand every pay cycle.
It’s one more step toward payroll that’s truly built into your HR, not just connected to an external system, but designed to fit natively.
Performance reviews follow your employees, even mid-change
When an employee changes status or supervisor mid-review cycle, their performance review now updates automatically to reflect it, no manual adjustments needed.

Folks HRIS
- Automatic renewal of supervisor goals, which can be turned on in the settings.
- Public API alignment with its documentation: fixes to overtime, time banks, employee and profile photo endpoints.
Folks ATS
- The Indeed integration is now fully automated: job postings, updates, and closures happen automatically, and applications flow straight into your ATS.
Folks Payroll
- Time import now supports Excel files, in addition to CSV.
- Employees without a registration number are now supported during payroll processing.
- Customizable columns on the Payroll Preparation page.
- A warning now appears when imported regular hours don’t match an employee’s pay type.
